The Plant Select Garden is located on the main trail approaching the eagle exhibit and on the left before crossing Canyon Creek. It welcomes the visitors to the animal section of ZooMontana with both a natural and native feel. This new garden is part of the "Plant Select" program. There's much anticipation about this crevice garden as it will give the zoo some visual excitement this growing season ! Stay tuned for a Spring update.
Plant Select® is a nonprofit collaboration of Colorado State University, Denver Botanic Gardens, and professional horticulturists. Its mission is to seek out and distribute the very best plants for landscapes and gardens from the Intermountain region to the High Plains and beyond.
Since 2012, IBG has showcased some of these plants in our Plant Select® Demonstration Garden.
