Welcome to our newest page from the Yellowstone Arboretum. It's called "Tree Share" and here's what it can do to aid you in the selcetion of a new tree, plus, here's an opportunity to share your "Tree Stories":
If you are looking to select a new tree for a landscape project and are curious as to how that tree may perform in our Montana climate just state the type of tree(s) you are are looking for and list it in a new page entry. A member of our staff will get back to you and help you locate that species if it is in the collection at the Arboretum. This will also be an opportunity for other web visitors to comment on their experiences with that particular tree.
Tree stories? We all have stories of our favorite trees...how they perform...how they grow...good experiences and bad, so blog away.....!
Tough tree questions? We may not be the total experts on all trees but we will try to answer any tough questions you have. As the Yellowstone Arboretum is acredited with ArbNet we can always find out your answers through our friends at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois.
Anyway you look at it a tree is a friend and friends should last forever so let us make that friendship a special one.
-Thanks for your support
